How We’re Dealing with COVID-19

After months of isolation and social distancing, we know that many of you are ready for some exciting adventures!  Dog sledding is a great activity that naturally allows individuals to social distance and enjoy the great outdoors with our loving pack of husky heroes!

Summary

Please note that guests booked in each sled must be from one household/cohort as per Government of Alberta covid health restrictions.

  • Disinfecting often – high touch point areas
  • Social distancing during transport
  • Face coverings required to enter office
  • Employees screened daily for symptoms

Your Check-In

  • Upon arrival you will be greeted by one of our staff and asked to sanitize your hands
  • You will be assigned a transportation driver and vehicle
  • Guests may either wait in our office or may chose to wait outside or in their assigned transport vehicle (if available), but will need to remain 2 meters apart from other cohorts
  • Staff will assist with any rental needs and any items used will be disinfected and pulled from rotation for a minimum of 24hrs

Transportation

  • To accommodate the need for social distancing, we will be unable to offer any transportation to/from Banff this season. All guests will be required to make their way to our office in Canmore, meeting 1 hour prior to their tour time for check-in
  • All guests will be assigned a transportation driver and vehicle
  • Guests will be loaded by cohorts and asked to load from back to front of their assigned vehicle
  • Guests will be required to wear face coverings during the transportation from our office to dog sledding site. If guests do not have a face covering, one will be provided for a fee.
  • All vehicles are disinfected between transports

  • Being outdoors allows us to naturally social distance
  • Sleds remain only family/friends of the same cohort
