Immerse yourself in the world of husky heroes with our kennel tours, where you’ll encounter nearly 200 adorable huskies eagerly awaiting your arrival. This interactive, informative, and hands-on tour of our well-maintained outdoor kennel facility offers guests an exclusive look into the lives of our beloved pack of husky hero dogs.

As the only sled dog kennel in the Bow Valley with a free run enrichment program, our guests can participate with our sled dogs as they enjoy their off-tether fun!

Join the excitement as our pack splashes through pools, frolics in sprinklers, and romps around with their toys.

After witnessing the excitement of our free run, indulge in some quality one-on-one time with our beloved sled dogs. Discover the fascinating characteristics of the several different breeds that make up our exceptional pack while forming unforgettable connections with these remarkable animals.

Prepare for plenty of cuddles, kisses, and photo opportunities with your favourite husky heroes before concluding your tour with a refreshing cold beverage or frozen treat. Don’t miss the chance to witness the magic of our huskies in their habitat and perhaps catch a glimpse of our adorable springtime litters of husky puppies.

Whats Included?

  • 1.5 hours with our beautiful husky hero sled dogs 
  • Cold beverage or frozen treat
Tour Times
  • 2:00pm – Check-in at our office located downtown Canmore
  • 2:30-4:00pm – Tour of our kennel facility
  • 4:15pm – Arrive back at our office.

  • Adult: $75 CAD +GST (ages 16+)

The Snowy Owl kennel tour is heaven for dog lovers. We got to meet the enthusiastic and adorable dogs at the kennel during their free time, and hear about their diet and treatment. The guides obviously care about each dog and know all 150-odd dogs by name, and respect that each dog has a distinct personality. I had such a wonderful time that I went back again about a month later,l. On top of seeing all the beauties again, I got to see the puppies in their next stage of development. I utterly enjoyed the whole experience but you really do need to wear clothes that can handle contact with muddy paws. A total delight and highly recommended.

Amazing experience. I chose this company for the reputation they have regarding the humane treatment of their dogs. Which I was happy to see first hand is absolutely true. The workers know each dog by name, and understand their personality and work them according to their ability. Their kennels are open in the summer for tours, and most of the money Snowy Owl earns goes back into the upkeep of their kennels. Their dogs all seem very happy and love what they do, and are absolutely taken care of, which is so important to me. The experience itself was amazing. 10/10 recommend.

The Summer Kennel Tour was amazing! Quality time with all the dogs who wanted TLC. Lots of photo ops! Guide was knowledgeable and informative! We got to check out all the different breeds of huskies, know how they're fed, get licked and pawed at, hold cute adorable 8 week old pups! It's like a day in paradise condensed into 1.5 hours!
