Summer Kennel Tours
As the only sled dog kennel in the Bow Valley with a free run enrichment program, our guests can participate with our sled dogs as they enjoy their off-tether fun!
Join the excitement as our pack splashes through pools, frolics in sprinklers, and romps around with their toys.
After the free run, enjoy some one-on-one time with the dogs as you learn about the seven different breeds of sled dog in our pack.
There’ll be plenty of time for hugs, kisses and photos with your favourite husky heroes! Finish off your tour with a cold beverage or frozen treat.
Tour Season: June to October (weather dependant)
Tour Days: Friday-Monday
Tour Times:
- 2:00pm – Check-in at our office located downtown Canmore
- 2:30-4:00pm – Tour of our kennel facility
- 4:15pm – Arrive back at our office.

Adventure Dog Carting Tour + Kennel Tour
This package is perfect for dog lovers!! Experience both our summer Adventure Dog Cart tours and our Dog Days of Summer Kennel tour with this action packed package. Spend the morning adventure dog carting in Kananaskis where you’ll get a chance to interact with our pack of husky heroes.
In the afternoon, visit the Snowy Owl Tours dog kennel facility just outside of Canmore. This interactive tour includes participation in our free run enrichment program with a chance to see our husky heroes enjoy their off-tether fun! Join the excitement as our pack splashes through pools, frolics in sprinklers, and romps around with their toys.
After the free run, enjoy some one-on-one time with the dogs as you learn about the seven different breeds of sled dog in our pack. There’ll be plenty of time for hugs, kisses and photos with your favourite husky heroes! Finish off your tour with a cold beverage or frozen treat.

- 1.5 hours including 30 min intro & time with the dogs, 30 min on the trail, 30 min in the Guinn Family Wildlife Museum. All times are approximate.

Kennel Tour + White Water Rafting Tour
If you love dogs and river rafting this package is for you! Spend the morning out of the river with our sister company, White Wolf Rafting, on the Horseshoe Canyon Adventure Raft Tour riding the biggest rapids in the Bow Valley! Your tour includes cliff jumping and wave surfing as well as a USB of professional photos.
