When Do You Have to Pay for Dog Sledding?
Because we want to accommodate as many people as we can and make sure that our dogs and guides are available on the days and times that our guests request, Snowy Owl must receive payment upfront to ensure that your trip is secured. Obviously, if we had one guest who booked their trip but didn't pay, and another guess booked their trip and did pay, we would have to prioritize the guest that paid if there aren't other sleds available at that time. Your cooperation and understanding in this matter allows us to run our operations more efficiently and provide better service to all of our guests.
Additionally, Snowy Owl Sled Dog Tours strongly encourages all of our guests to make their reservations before the peak season for vacation and weekends. By mid-November, our schedule starts to fill up pretty quickly throughout the new year.
Can I Get a Refund if I Cancel My Trip?
Snowy Owl Sled Dog Tours is happy to provide a full refund if you decide to cancel your trip. However, tours canceled within 24 hours of a scheduled trip cannot be refunded. We hope that you won't need to cancel your trip with us, but if you do, just be sure to cancel as far in advance as possible.
Further, please read the details of your tour before and after you make your purchase. You may have additional expenses, such as lunch, snacks, hot drinks, etc. Some tours include these amenities, but others don't.
Can I Sue if I Get Hurt Dog Sledding?
The fact is; sled dog tours are extremely safe, especially sled dog tours by Snowy Owl! Still, because of the nature of dog sledding, we will ask you to sign a liability waiver form prior to the tour. This agreement just states that you will not hold Snowy Owl liable if you are injured on the trail. As long as you follow our instructors' guidance, you will be just fine.
We Must Depart on Time
Again, because of our commitment to deliver tours to all of our paid guests, we must depart on time. This means that the tour will leave at the scheduled time. We politely request that you arrive no less than 30 minutes early (preferably one hour early) so we can get you geared up properly and tell you what you need to know. Unfortunately, we cannot hold a tour for late arrivals.
In the event that you are going to be late, give us a call as soon as you can. This way, if there is a way, we can try to accommodate you.
