Myself, my 11 year old daughter, our 2 hamsters, and Gaiden.

What motivated you to adopt a retired sled dog?

Companionship, someone to come for walks with me. Also to give Gaiden a good retirement.

What do you love most about having an adoptee sled dog join your family?

He’s very chilled out. Loves cuddles and lying around all day. Fit’s in with our family so well.

What 3 activities does your adoptee enjoy the most?

• Dog park
• Walks, all the walks
• He has also started watching TV in the last few weeks

What new skills did your husky hero learn since living with you?

• How to sleep on a dog bed.
• He still doesn’t like going up to the top floor though.
• Watching him come down the stairs the one time he tired was pretty comical.
