Looking to inquire about Husky Adoption? Please note that our adoption process is very selective and that we will decline any candidates who do not meet our retired husky hero’s requirements.

To begin the adoption process, interested individuals can send us a note below, introducing themselves and expressing their interest in adopting a retired husky hero. Upon receipt, we send out a detailed questionnaire to gather more information about the applicant’s lifestyle and preferences. 

Next, our Adoption Coordinator conducts a phone interview to further assess the applicant’s suitability and discuss potential matches. Once matched, we arrange an initial meeting and kennel visit, during which applicants meet the available dogs and learn more about each one. 

Subsequent visits involve spending more time with the dogs, going on walks, and assessing handling skills. As the process progresses, the family may take the dog on day hikes and participate in trial sleepovers to ensure compatibility. Once both the family and the dog have formed a strong bond, we finalize the adoption with a timeline tailored to the individual’s needs and comfort level.
