Learn the history of this ancient form of North American transportation. Explore the world of our many Native Canadian tribes. Here, you will be connected with the true nature of the Blackfoot Dog Society & meet the mysterious "Shaman" our very gentle and stunningly beautiful wolf hybrid.

Enjoy a "behind the scenes" look at how our huskies are trained. Take a ride summer style with one of our guides and witness the training of our yearlings, leaders and new huskies and watch the team work as one. This will give you the opportunity to travel through a small beautiful forest at the base of Grotto Mountain near Canmore and see our four-legged friends in action. Bring a camera! (Wear casual attire used in hiking as our dogs are friendly and love hugs and kisses).
"June - August is puppy time!!" Our tour times are as follows: 9am, 10am and 11am. Time Frame: This program will require approximately 2 hours of your time leaving from Canmore or 3 hours of your time leaving from Banff.
